2018 CX-5 Transmission in a 2013 CX-5?

My 2013 CX 5 has the transmission whining
Problem as discussed in Mazda technical
bulletin 05-005/20. Will a 2014-2019 transmission bolt in without a problem?

I would say your 2013 CX-5 can’t use a 2018 or newer automatic transmission simply because Mazda had modified the AT to accommodate the newly added cylinder deactivation feature starting MY 2018 CX-5 in the US.
