2016 vs. 2015 CX-5 exterior differences?

Due to a road hazard incident, I need to have the front bumper cover replaced on my 2016 CX-5 as well as the right rear wheel well trim ring.

The body shop couldn't get a 2016 parts catalog to come up for the VIN # of my car so they used 2015 for their estimate.

Does anyone know if there are there any differences in the front end areas of the two years?

The plastic bumper facias are the same, but the grille parts are different.

Aren't the fog light assy's different as well?

I wouldn't do do it, but its all for superficial reasons.

yeah the fog lights are difference especially if you have the tech package on the 16. Which it appears that you do, so don't do the 15 front bumper.

The exact same thing happened to me that the insurance adjuster couldn't get body parts' pricing when he's trying to produce damage estimate report from his computer software for our hail damaged 2016 CX-5! He'd to manually modify my VIN to a 15's. You can always get part numbers and prices on these 2016 body parts from any Mazda dealers though.

Yep, that is what he did for mine as well--changed one number of the VIN.

Another concern for me is I had the 3M nose mask applied when I purchased. I see in the estimate a "mylar stone guard" ....hmmmmm?
