2016 or 2016.5?

I just bought what I thought was a 2016.5 Grand Touring CX-5.

What is the differences between a 2016 GT and a 2016.5 GT?

I think that I may have purchased a 2016 when I thought that I was getting a 2016.5.

I know, silly question but that's me.

The window sticker says 2016 or 2016.5 do you have the window sticker?

The Mazda site and CAR and Driver articles both only mention that NAVIGATION became standard on the GT for 2016.5.

No sticker. I asked for the sticker when we were leaving the dealership but was told that it was thrown out the day before. The salesman told me that he would have a new sticker printed out and sent to me. I'm a bit skeptical...

WOW; I don't even think that's legal! Call Mazda US customer service and give them the VIN to determine what it is.

I just got off the phone with Mazda customer service. I asked them this question and after giving her my VIN she still wasn't sure. She had to check with someone else. When she came back she asked if my CX-5 had an electric parking brake since according to her the 2016 doesn't have an electric parking brake, that started with 2016.5. I do have a electric parking brake but I was still skeptical. I just now looked at the online 2016 owner's manual and according to that the 2016 has an electric parking brake.

That's bogus information. I have a 2016 (purchased April 2015) and it has an electric parking brake. Obviously Mazda cus srv needs some training about their vehicles.

If your dealer can't find your window sticker, call Customer Experience Center at Mazda North American Operations and ask for a reprint. All dealers are saving the window sticker for the customer and your dealer might have been folded yours with owner's manual in the envelop or with other paper works.

Even a rookie car salesman knows he shouldn't just "toss" the new car window sticker out! You're sure your CX-5 has never been titled, right? How many miles did the CX-5 have when you picked up your new CX-5?

3 miles on the odo and it still had the plastic on the seats and interior the first time that I saw it.
