2009 CX-7 Tech Package Bluetooth

Hey everyone, I went to my local Mazda dealership to check out hte 2009s. I noticed that none of the vechicles with nav listed bluetooth as an option. Are nav and bluetooth mutually exclusive? I was under the impression that the two were bundled together.

Nope. My 2009 GT has both nav and blue tooth.

Does your '09 with Nav also have the aux. 1/8" input? If so, how does it work? Do you press the SAT button twice to activate the switch box?

I'm not 100% sure but I think all the 09s have the aux input. I haven't used it yet, but the manual says the Media button makes it work.

I asked in hopes of being able to buy the switch box and installing an aux input in my '07.

Unfortunately, I have learned that Mazda completely changed the head units in the '09. The connections are different in number and size, so there is no way to install the new input without changing the head unit. There is also a new iPod connection unit that works with the Nav and keeps the Sat for the '09 head unit. Again, it isn't an option for the '07.
