What size bulbs are the 2008 mazda 3s? i thought they were h7 but they dont fit...and the 9006 is shaped like an L...it wont fit either, does anyone know where to get good quality HIDs that will fit the 2008 mazda 3?

FYI - All OEM HIDs use 4300K, which is the purest white and best light to use. Up to 6000K it technically acceptable, after that, it just gets ricey and the output is not as bright, even if it 'looks' like it is. You can go down to 3000K like Le Mans cars  but it will be yellow, and won't exactly be the easiest thing to deal with, IMO.

All HID bulbs are D2S, then they usually are listed with a dash and the Kelvin rating. I'd skip changing them, money well spent other places.

I have HID in my car I want to go brighter is it just as easy to replace the bulbs as on a car with Halogen bulbs?

Wow a lot of mis-information here.

Let's set the record straight for all those reading this.

For a non-HID equipped Mazda 3 (or MS3):
Lowbeam H7
Highbeam 9005
Fog (for MS3 anyway) 9006

For an HID equipped Mazda 3 (or MS3):
Lowbeam D2S
Highbeam 9005
Fog (for MS3 anyway) 9006

Anybody who has other information feel free to add to it.

By brighter you mean what? If you have OEM HID's and you want to get brighter you'll have to get an aftermarket 50/55w HID kit. But you'll still have to stay in the 4000k range the OEM Mazda3 set-up has. You even have this option if you want to get crazy.

Impressive what people can come up with.

i'm curious why you'd need to go brighter on your lowbeams than what the factory HID's offer.

supplement the high beams with a nice halogen like the toshiba HIR as well as the fogs and you certainly will not have any lighting issues in any condition.
