Called the 3 closest speed dealerships and confirmed that all are not offering s-plan pricing on the speed3.
what....i called mazda na and they said there should be no problem. what are stearlerships trying to get away with
Ok so what does REstricted mean?
There was an article I read regarding a thing called "Dealer Holdback". It's a percentage the dealership makes irregardless of what price the car is sold at. It's a form of interest that the manufacturer charges when a dealership orders cars.
Dealers still make dealer holdback regardless of if the car even sold at invoice. And as always, all dealerships will say it's not price, but quantity that they make their money off of. But they also make more based on a certain price bracket as well.
You bring up the topic of dealer holdback and the fact they're still making money (especially if you're buying a car that JUST showed up on their lot from being ordered), that sorta levels the playing field up a little.

all this talk about s plan pricing but what about A plan pricing for ford. or the E-plan as mazda would liek to call it. Which is the plan i qualify for
Dealer holdback is a bulls*** charge to get more money out of you, don't be a sucker and fall for that. If a dealership is trying to pull that stunt, you should probably take your business elsewhere.
My purchase last month had:
car
tax
license/registraton
No holdback, no stupid acronyms you don't know, etc.
Pardon my skepticism but would it actually show dealer holdback on the contract? Because I doubt it would and I doubt you had them talked into giving up there last means of income on the car right?
Just asking.

Adam is your dealership selling any speed3's under MSRP? My local dealer is barely budging on the price. They say it is selling too well to cut the price.
