2008.5 MAZDASPEED3 - Now in CRYSTAL WHITE and METROPOLITAN GRAY

My dad works for a dealership, plus they're willing to give it to me from what I understand. They've been really nice about everything so far.

S plan is invoice. S plan is technically not available for the speed3. some dealers may still give it, but when you give an s plan pin code, the dealer gets a small kick back. (i work for a dealership fyi for those who didn't know)

I just got a CX7 at S plan and was $500 below invoice. But I believe they change according to model.

well I can show you my contract where it shows invoice price and the $500 discount. Which I didn't negociate. I just bought it last week.

walking away

i ordered a 08.5 white ms3 sport in like nov. (check this thread) but now i am walking away when it was delivered. i told the sales guy to keep me informed on every step of the process but i was not. nothing about when it was actually ordered, nothing about being built, nothing about being on the water, nothing about its coming dadada. that is until they called me on wednesday and said your car arrived yesterday (tues). i wanted to be there for the safety drive. i wanted to private sell my car and take the snow tires off the factory wheels. i wanted and did not get. so when they tried to sell the ms3 to me for sticker and then give a crap trade in value, i said call me when you actually want to work with me. i left, they called and offered 500 off, i said make it 1000, they said no. i said bye. no ms3 for me. a 07 ninja 650 instead. i would of hated to put 20000 miles a year on the ms3, now i can put like 12k on my current mz3 and like 8k on the bike. saves gas, is fun, and i dont have to make any payments. just paying cash. so if any one wants a white ms3 sport, try faulkner mazda in hbg., pa. they suck at service but its there with no test drive miles as of friday the 7th. im out fools. no more ms3 forum. its been good

I guess dealers are set up for suckers, I for one would like to see a dealer that would be upfront and sell you the cars at their lowest possible price like a Best Buy or Fry's for auto sales. I have already ordered my next car and put down a deposit and know that its going to be he'll trying to lower the price. I'll will be in the same position you were, and as you not afraid to leave.

i don't doubt what you paid one bit. all i am saying is S plan is invoice for the car. on every invoice, there is group of numbers at the bottom, and the one of them will say "splan*****" and that number always matches the invoice price. if you bought an 07 there was $500 dealer cash and $2500 dealer engagement money. 2008 models have $2000 dealer engagement.

I have been everywhere.

so... just because they didn't update you on when the car's engine was being installed and whose grubby little hands installed the chrome emblem.. you're bailin? lol dude.. no offense but that's sort of weak. I understand you wanted to be there at the time it was delivered... totally. But come on... car salespeople not listening to the buyers isn't exactly new. Sometimes I wonder if I'm speaking a different language to these F'in people! The fact that you were in position to get a White (the most coveted color MS3 of all) MS3 (granted in a sport trim...no alacantra... boo!!) at $1000 off sticker... with 0 miles on the odo!! lol hate to say it bro but deep down you didn't really want this car.

You said it yourself... you're happier sticking with your current 3 and riding the bike in the summer. That makes sense on a lot of levels so I think it's definitely the best bet for you... but don't turn the dealership into the scapegoat. That bs just gave you the excuse you were looking for.

let me play devils advocate also. the dealership can only see a limited amount anyway. they don't have a schedule of when exactly a car is coming in. when i pull up our allocation, i can see build date, when its on the boat, when its at port and when it left port, but you don't know what day it will arrive. why didn't you call for updates? when we special order a car, we don't negotiate either. you pay 1000 over invoice unless it is MX-5 PRHT. enjoy the ninja though. those are nice bikes. i have wanted a street bike for a while.

its an 08. It would be nice to know all those hidden numbers ;)

i just wonder where they pulled the money from. certain markets do have ad fees built into the invoice price, but i have never seen $500 worth. it also might have had a special $500 of dealer cash. randomly mazda will throw out a little additional money toward the end of the month, and it can vary by regions. eh, who knows. hope you enjoy it!

Uhh you do know that B.B and Frys have a 100% mark up on everything correct?

well they are cheap. Now comparing them to Internet sales is a little unfair but I guess you get my point. No hassles.

So as much as I love the white... (honestly, the MG didn't really do it for me) after some thought... silver's definitey my favorite.

so does anyone know when these things are going to stop rolling in? I'd ideally like to get one right off the truck... without the bullet hole license plate bracket bs
