Finally, after my constant searching, Metra has a single/double din dash kit and wire harness for the Mazda2 available in the US (drinks). Check it out

I found it on Ebay for $60 shipped which is an evergae price considering how big the kit actually is. One of these days I'll upload my pictures of the install

Very cool. Neat option if/when I look to upgrade my deck! Much cheaper than the factory Pioneer upgrade for $1000

Well here's the bad part about the kit which I have yet to find a remedy for. Basically, after you install the kit, you lose the "Info" button and options on your steering wheel/Instrument panel. Whatever info is displaying on your instrument panel at the time of installation is what it gets stuck on. The option it's stuck on actually works thought which is nice I guess. Luckily, mine was left on the "miles left until next fill up" which is my favorite. I had a swi-jack installed as well so I could keep all of the other steering wheel controls. Another thing is that in order to keep your AM/FM radio, our car requires an antenna adapter from a Honda Civic I believe which is quite comical.
