A buddy of mine is looking into getting a new winning blue mazda3. He is looking into getting a mazda3 sedan 2.3l with abs, moonroof 6 cd changer, sport package, and xenon lights, leather if possible. And I was wondering if there are any deals anyone knows about going on for them? I checked the website and found nothing. Could he use the s plan or not really? I am just wondering to see whats out there rebates style to get him the best deal. Thanks!

Yes, he can use the S-plan (if he's eligible). Other than that, I don't think there are any deals going.
You can always haggle with saleswhores, though.

well i dont know if he is eligable for the s plan but i told him about it and gave him some advice from what i saw whehn my father "negotiated" my p5. basically we got 0 down 0% apr for 3 years and the car at invoice or msrp i cant remember but i beleive we got the car at invoice price with options paid fully. anyways 500 a month for 3 years is not that bad considering what i stated.

They have a nice rebate ($3k) on the 6's till the end of the month (at least in my area) that almost make it silly to get a 3 without any rebate.

yeah idk he does not seem interested in the 6....oh well but i like the 6 and yeahh hes stuck between a 3 and a rsx i beleive but i told him to just get the 3 because he wouldnt get the type s or anything so not worth it i feel.

500 for 3 years seems a little high. no?
im paying 250/month for 5 years.

But he has 0 down and 0% APR, so total is $18,000. Considering that's including tax and everything, the cost of the car should be around $16,500, which is what I paid for my Protege5 when I bought it back in 2002...

Then of course if you got the same term of 0 down 0% APR you have a great deal on your $15,000 Mazda3 :p

well i am talking about a protege5 not the new mazda3. that is what we financed. but if you think about it. 0 down, 0% apr for 3 years. its not that bad of a deal. itl be high in payments but 0 down 0% apr?

Thinking of buying Mazda 3 GT(2,3l)

Anyone here in TO ? I was thinking of buying this from the dealer at Yonge/Steeles. 22450 Canadian before all the onroand stuff n taxes. After its about 27K plus. What kind of discount should i be expecting. I am paying cash. Informally when i walked into Mitsubishi before actually talking about it I was told I could get about 3K off a Lancer if I paid cash. Honda wasnt as upfront about discounts nor did they sound as tho they were going to be generous with it.

Anyone recently bought an 05 Mazda wanna share some thoughts.

Alot of dealers dont like dealing with cash simply because they don't make money on the loan.

Actually, every dealer likes dealing with cash. That means it is less work for them to get you financing, and they get the money up front. If you can pay with cash usually you can get a better deal. The dealership has nothing to do with financing. The bank is the one that is giving the loans.

If you're paying cash, you should be able to get it for invoice.

The dealers in my area are knocking off about $2,500 or so. But I also live in a huge metropolitan area that has a lot of competition and high sales volumes, so prices will most likely be less. Your area may be different, but goldwing is right you should be able to get for about invoice price. Go to www.edmunds.com and you can check out what the invoice is.

it would help you to put your location in the profile.. but since i bought my car at yonge and steeles i can help u..

go there and talk to noah.. tell him majic sent you and he'll help you out.. $27K OTR is pretty much MSRP, you should be able to knock some $$ off that.

PM me if you have any questions.. also check out torontomazda3.com for more local info

another good dealer in the TO area is avante on yonge and major mack.. good luck!

Paid 25,600CAD OTR on A 2005 M3 Sport GT, AT, AC, moon, no leather. No PST as I live in AB. Financing 2.9% for 48 years. Additional 750CAD cash rebate available if you buy cash.

how much is that translated to US$?
that doesnt sound too bad though. nice rebate and nice rate.

That's a little below 21,400USD. I don't really know how to haggle with those sales devils, some say I could have negotiated even lower, specially that it is a 2005 model. In any case, the rate is nice, the car is even nicer. The 2006 model will come probably with 4.9% and not many rebates, however the 5 SP AT would have been nice. In any case, I am happy :).

that's about 27.5K if you had to buy that in ON (15% tax vs 7%) but all in all a pretty good deal (since you had AT and moon which are about $1800 options pre tax)..

48 yrs.. nice :D

can't really do exchange rates when buying vehicles - markets are much different and waaaay easier to haggle (get invoice pricing) in the USA than north of the 49th

well i ask because i am in VT which is as north as it gets. I got my 2004 3s with the roof and the 6-disc change for 17K 3.9% fixed for 60 months. i doint think i can compain about that. especially i was the first person to drive the car after they pulled it off the truck. it only had 1 mile on :) i test drove it and bought it the same day.
