2004 Protege and P5?

the gentlaman that said anyhting with ford worries you,
well isnt mazda like 1/3 ford or another.
the 2003.5 mazda speed is already over at mazda, the headquaters out here is like 5 mins up the street from my work.
there was a yeallow one out front they are driving around.
sorry but i dont like the new wing. the diffrence in teh bumper is that yes no fog lightes, but the only change is a peice of plastic on teh bottom of the bumper thats added on, the rims were like polished, and the rear bumper was diffrent, i like the old wing better, and the shifter knob was short and fat. and had a mazdaspeed muffler, and no sparco stuff.
as i was in the back of the building, there drove out an rx8, sounds and looks nice, and i think i found a protege in teh back, might have been the sample bed for the mp3, there was no suspension, had the side skirts. custom brackets on the front bumbper from desighned one, clay molding on the rear bumper, and sketch drawings inside the car, plus trhe windows were blacked out. i drive by there all the time, cause when new cars are out, the high people have them locked in a get in the back and drive them home . but i havent seen the new wagons yet!

Mazda3 Wagon - P5 replacement...
I wouldn't expect the price of the new Mazda3 wagon to be anymore then the current P5 (but without any rebates or special offers). But I do expect more options to be available which will up the price, that's if you get those extras.
Looks like the Mazda3 Wagon will have around 150hp (20hp more)

P5 still top dog...
Even thought the Mazda3 wagon will be better in most ways that still doesn't mean the P5 isn't a top dog. Considering that you can get the P5 for $1000 less (rebate) it will be like getting the lower end Mazda3. I know it kind of sucks that you don't have an option now for the 150hp Mazda3 but then again you'll be paying $1000+ less for the P5 vs what the Mazda3 will be going for (no rebate), there probably won't be any rebates or specials on the Mazda3 for at least a year - if at all (it should be a hot seller considering it's price, new performance, and look). If Mazda really wants to create a market killer they will give the Mazda3 160-170hp with AWD.

ehh. I like the roof rack and spoiler of my P5. Although I'm curious as to how they're going to get another 20hp...that could be a future mod to my car if its based of the same 2.0 engine.

all aluminum design but ithink if i read correctly somewhere that these are rienforced iron cylinder walls
and the heads can flow enough for 1100 hp from the factory!!!!
