200 whp with a side-mount?

I have custom msps smic, and I thought about the bumper blocking flow.
Not an issue. No heatsoak and you get to stay low key. Definitely the best purchase I have made for the MSP. The price is great too.

Was it cheaper to have it custom than, let's say the Circuit Sports SMIC?

With Unichip (10psi), Injen Intake, Cork Sport exhaust I made 247 crank horsepower. 100% safe and streetable.

If your only goal is for 200whp and that's it, then I probably wouldn't bother upgrading it. :shrug:

Personally, I'd rather spend a bit more to get an FMIC over a SMIC.

For FMIC vs SMIC I guess that depends also on where you live... Over here heat problems related to weather temp. only occur during 4 months or so. Some people that have FMIC here are getting fuel cut all the time (even in mid-2nd gear) during winter...

i've got turbohoses smic & hardpipes, and Injen CAI, 3" turbo-back, at 11psi hit 220whp & 209ft/lb tq

Supposably with everything i have ( SMIC + Hardpipes, CAI, Apex DP w/ Hi-flow cat, and Greddy SP2 Exhuast) and boosting at 6-6.5 psi stock which should go to 7-7.5 after mods. I should be right around 190-200whp. we shall see!

Make that 175-180whp at 7-7.5 psi

i wonder what im making...i gteched 190hp at 8psi with no front mount, intake and the methenol was actually making me slower cause i was running pure meth so that a/f was uber rich. best run of the night was 14.7s so that seems about right. now add the fmic, intake, proper meth setup and 10psi, i wonder what im at hmmm...

not sure if it was mentioned yet (didn't read the whole thread) but along with the side mount you could go I/C spreyer with CO2, or even H2O, there any MANY cheap ways to go about this, i believe it's even a sticky thread somewhere.
