I was wondering :

How much boost can the stock turbo handle?

How much boost stock internals can handle?

If anyone knows of any Nissan forums, you could ask them about the turbo. The T25 is in the SR20DET as well, so I'm sure they would know.

As for the internals, I think Joe P might be the one to ask.

how much boost or how much boost efficiently?
the internals are only as good as the tuning done to prevent detonation. i wouldn't feel safe over 250whp on these internals for every day driving, maybe for a dyno run or 2 but that's about it. as to how much "boost" that will depend on how much air you're flowing, so which turbo you have, varying atmospheric conditions, etc...

The T25 is in the SR20DET as well, so I'm

People have some misconceptions about this turbo. It is NOT a T25. It is a GT25. The GT stand for Garrett Technology which they only place on products that incorporate a ball-bearing design. Normal T25's are much less effecient and do NOT incorporate the T04S compressor.

but in newer sr20's, they do use a ball bearing t25. it isn't the exact same that is in our car (there are many things that can be different in any turbo), but there are plenty of sr20 powered cars w/ ball bearing t25's. i have yet to see a compressor map for our turbo, so i would say your best bet would be to find a compressor map for a nissan ball bearing t25.

There are 4 types of the GT25, 2 of which use the T04S compressor, ours is one. Not to sure on the compressor for the T25 in the SR20DET.

Okay, the T25 in the SR20 is a ball-bearing but not the GT type. The T25 in the SR20 uses the older style with a ball-bearing on the turbine side and NOT on the compressor side. Ours uses it on both compressor and turbine.

The GT-25 is efficient up towards 14-15 LBS, after that, the efficiency drops off, due to the excessive heat it generates, and inability to move more air.

STcok internals, If you tune it right, you can pump just about 15-16 lbs on the dyno, or track, but about 12 lbs daily.
