i don't know what would be better for a msp for and exhaust size. i see a lot of 3" exhaust like the one from vibrant. i really like that exhuast but i keep having people tell me that a 3" exhaust will be bad for my car in the long run due to backpressure issues. what does everyone think?

Back Pressure Is The Enemy Of A Turbo Engine... But 3" Exhaust Isn't Totally Necessary On A Otherwise Stock Vehicle. 2.5" Exhaust Can Properly Flow Over 250whp With Little To No Loss On The Low End.

Really Its A Matter Of What Works For You And Your System. I Like 3" Exhaust On Most Turbo Cars For High Rpm Flow And I've Noticed A Difference In Every Turbo Car I've Owned (sr20det 240z, Rb20det S13 240sx) Over A 2.5" Exhaust.

sr240z is on the money. I don't really need a 3" exhaust to make my whopping 169 whp, but it is true turbo motors don't like extra backpressure, and at least I don't have to swap out when the forged motor goes in.
