thanks, i was right.
I hope any passengers in the back seat on that side of the car missed it. Looks like it could be ankle biter/burner for them getting in or out over there. Still, cool ass ride. I'm checkin the cps strut bar & wonderin how cool mine coulda been with it had I decided to ditch or relocate the cruise control. Ditched/relocated the bar instead & went with gt spec stb. I'm sure the cps would work better for a car that might see track time. Mine won't.I hope you don't miss the side exhaust...

that's from Montgomery Mazda (www.onlinemazdaparts.com)
they have great prices and kick ass customer service (they're an AV too!)
Just got done ordering the goods:
Ignition coil - $45.89 after shipping and tax (NAPAonline.com - Part Number ECH IC289)
NGK Plug Wires - $38.41 after shipping and tax (ngk.com - Part Number ZX52)
Will be sending payment for a used valve cover later tonight (from an FS-DE without coil-over-cylinder crap on it).
Ordered the mounting bracket from my dealer earlier today - $6.79 (employee discount).
Then it's either a polishing job or a nice coat of color for the valve cover (hmmm, what color though??) and then the 1.8L coil conversion, woohoo!
Try this
http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/catalog.php
I got my coil packs alot cheaper than mazda for the 2.0 liter
Note they list two coil packs for 1.8 liter.
One is 159 the other is 39 dollars.
I got the ones for the 2.0 liter for 12.41...or I can get the ones mazda sells for 96 a piece....
ngk wires from ngk.com about 40.00I just bought a coil pack and valve cover already
^ how much for just the coil pack?
No, no timing issues. I have heard of someone recently in some thread here taking them out because of misfire related cel or some type of similar issue. Best to just stick with good ole NGK copper plugs, either standard BKRs or long reach ZFRs. Nothing else will gain you anything except a thinner wallet & possible problems.so when you do this do you have to fix the timing after and has anyone heard anything about the e3 plugs
