2.0 conversion to 1.8 Coil Packs

<div class="bbWrapper">I&#039;m gonna convert to coil on plug and go away from the waste spark system (4 coils) and use the Haltech to control them. The LS1 coils I mean.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">just an fyi 1998 honda civic EX plug wire sets work perfect on this 1.8l coil setup. I use the NGK Power Cables. only 300 ohms of resistance per foot and the cables are about a foot each. worth the $200 price tag</div>

It&#039;s how anti-lag systems work. With the Haltech if I wanted, I can make the spark fire while the exhaust valve is still open, and shoot some sick flames.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">Any of you 1.8L coil packs users have pics of their coil packs installed other than the front of the motor (where the 1.8 coilpacks should go)<br /> <br /> TIA</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">Somebody mounted theirs where the cruise control was. There&#039;s a pic in one of the threads, maybe back in this one somewhere.</div>

I thinking of installing mine over the intake manifold area or the rear or the motor instead. The only thing that I&#039;m worried about is the length of the wires itself that will limit where I can install.<br /> <br /> I&#039;m turbo&#039;ed by the way and the front of the motor on top of my log manifold is just too hot.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">Mine are up front where you don&#039;t want them for yours but I undid the coil wires from the harness all the way from passenger side of motor all the way accross the firewall side to the TB (about 2 feet) then taped it all back up then loomed up the uncovered coil wires &amp; ran them up front to the coils. Depends on where you put yours but undoing the wires from the harness that far should allow at least a coupla possibilities within reach of the freed wiring.........<a href="http://www.msprotege.com/members/i12drivemyMP5/RAD_CVR1.JPG" target="_blank" class="link link--external" rel="nofollow ugc noopener">http://www.msprotege.com/members/i12drivemyMP5/RAD_CVR1.JPG</a></div>
