1st dent in the CX-7

Had to postpone the repairs until tomorrow, as it is raining,. Cannot do PDR in the rain...no sun. ,
The thought of bisecting the kids with 12 gauges of fun is totally on my mind. If I see em ever again, that will be my plan. If they do not have kneecaps, that cannot run away, and their blood will have DNA proof they were at the scene. But it is doubtful they will do it again. There were a lot of witnesses to the fingerprinting of the car, I am sure there are a lot of freaked out kids.
Slept like crap last night, am sure to do the same tonight, worried about damage. Will be upping the alarm to motion sensor with alarm page in coming weeks.

They were apparently just hanging out, discussing the if Mozart was really as accomplished as given credit for being. Or, as U suspectm, they were comparing "grills", and if x Rapper would be put 32's on my whip, and gold plate everything. I think the latter is most likely. I just hope they are more wondering if the cop got their prints, and if they will be going to get in trouble for breaking probation...

the saga continues. The dent removal guy did not do a good enough job to make it actually with the $250 he charges us. he took out the big roof dent, but wanted to get a shop to drop the deadliner to get rid of the 4 other dents. $200 more. The rear hatch was all wavy, not smooth as I expected, nor acceptable for a 1 month old car.
So I sucked it up, filed a claim. my agent sent out a guy he knows has 11 years experience, and he said the guy did not do it right, and that he could fix it. We dropped off the car at a very good local body shop, picked up a POS PT Cruiser (did not want the Taurus they offered), so we might get our car back in a few days or so.
So sad. 1 month, and dealership 1 time for defect, then it got abused by a bunch of chumps.

I just got a call from the insurance company. The Paintless Dent Removal guy got the roof repaired without the need to spray paint like they thought. He did work on the rear hatch, but the damage caused by the rookie dent removal guy I had originally got to fix it resulted in the need to have the hatch repainted. 
The shop is very aware of the magnifying glass that I will place the repair under. Of course, my wife wil be even more critical. So the shop is prepping our baby for paint and going to do a good job I hope. Slated to pick it up on Tuesday, and cannot wait top be rid of the PT Cruiser rental. What a hunk of crap those things are. Reminded us of her old Dodge Shadow. Gutless and cheap.
