18x8 40mm offset will fit on mazda 3s 2007??? any Suggestions

I own a mazda 3s 2007 and I want upgrade to 18", I saw last days a set of ruff racing r356 that are similar to TSW Nurburgring......the size of those rims are 18x8 40mm offset and the dealer recommends 225/40-18 on tyres, I have seen several pages that can affect the offset handling in my car and I only want to know is this offset and size can work properly on my car.

Yes. You may have to slightly roll your fenders if you're lowered more than 1.5".

WillD ran this exact same size setup on his speed3 while lowered on H&R springs. I believe all that is required is a slight roll in the rear for bumps and dips in the road. Stock height, you should be fine under daily driving
