203 whp @ 6000rpm
213 whp @ 4400rpm

Maybe this will shut up the haters for a while.....;)

Thats close to 240 hp

I will post dyno plots asap but that was at 7.5 psiof boost.

Sweet! But shouldn't that be 213 TQ @ 4400?

Antoine the drivetrain is ok if I dont dog the car out. There is LOTS of wheel hop so I am forced to go fast in gears 3rd and up. Reason being is that it 1st and 2nd gear braek the tires loose and generate wheel hop.
I have faith that I can run 10 or even 12psi of boost but my drivetrain will not like it so I will stay at 7-8psi. Before anything gets upgraded in the motor I will need to upgrade the tranny so I can run 15-18psi. But I am content for now:D

And yes I am using the link to fine tune my fuel and ignitin plots. Thats why I was able to extract more hp out. I initially dynoed my car way back before the clutch and 3 inch catless exhaust so that helped out alot as well.

If the tranny could hold it I think I could even run 15psi on C16 race fuel (116 octane leaded gas) and get 260 whp out of the motor. But that would I think destroy the tranny for sure.

It's kinda funny how my rant made a little sense. I think another possiblity is that the prototype MS-P may have a few different things done to it that won't be on the final production vehicles. I other words, the numbers we see may not be what the final car will have. Of course, I don't want to think that way, but you have to look at all the possibilities right.:)

Cool numbers spoolin'...Are you gonna get the urethane motor mounts and LSD in there or what?

I also think it's the fuel. You probably right spoolin. I think I'm runing too rich. My A/F gauges is almost alway on top side of rich when I go WOT. My spark plugs are dark and the car smell rich.

Right now I can't buy a piggy back system but I'll probably go for the Greddy emanage, or the Link. What do you think, the Greddy or the Link?

I have been looking at both systems and the LINK is far more superior to the e-manage. There is more adjustability and more parameters. The link also controls boost, wastegate sensitivity, fuel bursts via fuel accel and decay functions and works beautifully with my car. problem is the link is more$$$$ About double the cost but I know it works very well and I would be more than happy to share my settings with you so there would be virtualy very little tuning:D

I dont sell the link but I can provide you with that info.

Now that we have seen the write ups on the Mazdaspeed, we now know the WHP and Torque to be:

151 FWHP
150 FWTQ

That is pretty good. Those numbers made for a fun test drive.:D

How 'bout this....once someone gets there MSP, pull the engine and throw it on an engine dyno. That should end all debates!! :)

Man.....where the hell have been. I think the debate has been over for while. The fact has been established as to what the WHP is. How bout this.....maybe you should read some of the posts before you reply to a post.

How 'bout this.....maybe you should take a look at the :) I added to the end of my post and realize I was being synical.

I realize that people have speculated as to the numbers by using what Mazda has given out. The only true why to get HP and TQ is to put the engine on a dyno. I'm sure you know as well as I do that you can drive your car to a dyno and get some numbers, go down the street to another dyno and get something totally different. Throw Mazda's numbers into a forumla and get some more numbers.

I'm sure you also realize that not every car realizes the same drivetrain losses, so by using math to figure out the numbers can also be somewhat inaccurate.
