Hey Everyone,

I just purchased a 2013-2014 Stock Radio, I believe the 5.8" Touchscreen to modernize my 2008 system which still has the large knob for Volume. I took a gamble due to the price and purchased it. Does anyone know the harness needed for install or even if it will fit? Also what else would I need to purchase to have the Nav system fully functional. Thanks.

I suspect it will not work. The 08 system was crap to begin with. I suggest getting an iPad Mini with LTE and sticking it on there. Plug it in to the aux in for audio and a power cord and you have the best of everything.

The 2007, 2008, 2009(?) Nav uses a different GPS system than the later models.

Thanks, although I really don't care about the Nav system. I really just want to make sure the unit itself fits in the dash and the radio components work properly. Its simply to just update the looks of the dash without making it look too custom. Like putting in a Kenwood and such. Thanks, hope to hear your thoughts.

Good luck, just looking at the back of a 2012 receiver and the back of a 2013 I can see they don't use the same harness adapters (one plug looks like it MIGHT be the same, the other is completely different). I really doubt you'll ever get this working properly and there certainly won't be a plug and play harness available.

You might be able to rig it up to work using something like the RP4-MZ11 I used to get my aftermarket Pioneer receiver to work with the steering wheel controls and trip computer/clock but it's going to be trial and error.

As for adding nav just forget about it right now unless you want to spend 1000's. You'd be far better off selling that 2014 receiver back on ebay and buying an aftermarket double din with nav.
