12 psi

i agree, im eager to see his write up. on a technical level i can see bad impedance, resistance whatever causing an issue. but i find it hard to believe that it could come up 7-9 years later. but as i said, evidence will be much appreciated.

The best part is that the guy said MSPs all over are getting brought in because of this wire...I'm not sure if anyone has looked around but the vast majority of MSPs have come through this board and no one has posted about such wire.
Just out of curiosity how much is this super mechanic charging you to replace the Krytonite lined wire??
Or is he charging you for the lesson and replacing the wire for free?
But I truely look forward to this write up. Anything is possible with an MSP. I just don't see how it's just being discovered now, when this guy has had the knowledge of it all along...
Unless He's the one that designed it and put the wire there in the first place.
And in that case We need to kidnap him so he can reveal the rest of his coconspirators that did such a bad job designing these cars!!!

When wiring in an aftermarket ECU (EMS) it is almost possible to replace every wire / sensor that runs the car and leave the stock computer just running the dash. There have been various EMS systems installed (e.g. Microtech, Haltech) and no-one has found anything unexpected.

I am skeptical about this. It would be interesting to see how much is being charged to 'correct' this problem. But then again, a fresh pair of eyes on some old problems might reveal something useful. We will see soon enough.

you need to replace the fuel and air or injector relay wire. im not sure whats its really called i just found out about it.It opens a whole new world to these msps, mazda made are car with this thin wire running through the car and it makes the engine get hotter, the engine blow, or not get enough air and fuel to the engine which makes alot of problems for being that small. im getting a bigger wire to replace it and it will help all those problems and you can run more boost safetly. i will have a thread on it soon sorry if this does not make any since

Where is this thread?

looks like the info never really surfaced!!!! maybe cause it wasnt true.

I agree...this thread and his other thread about the standalone, whenever someone asks about that "writeup", he never really gives a clear answer on it but when someone asks about anything else regarding the standalone, he won't hesitate to talk about that. I don't buy this whole wire situation.

what he said. i want to find this magical wire..

Good luck finding something that doesn't exist.
Let me play devil's advocate for a sec.
MPNick was able to be the only person in the free world that had the ability to rebuild a MSP GT25 into a GT28RS. We sent my extra turbo out to have it done and the renowned shop said it wasn't possible. But we know for fact that MPNick was able to do it. Now knowing that something so rare exists with the MSP. "Maybe" this guy has been given the ability to find this wire......

haha common sense also tells me if this "wire" exists, it might have surfaced in the previous 7 years the car has been around..

Hands down this magical wire theory gets my vote for the dumbest thing ever posted about resolving MSP issues.

you can only find the wire if you look at a very precise angle, Mazda has hidden this angle. Only the very first mechanics that worked on the MSP knew about it! Unfortunately Mazda killed off all of them so they could not spread the secret, somehow one mechanic escaped the wrath. He/she tried to let the secret out to the MSP owners, but when Mazda found the post on here, they finally located the mechanic and killed him. so the knowledge of the secret wire died with the last mechanic! This is why the secret wire is just a myth now.

If you would like to learn more how Mazda has kept this wire such a secret I am in the process of writing a book about it, look for it in stores near you!!!! haha, I will also be dedicating my life to finding this wire, so i can share with other fellow MSP owners

maybe someone should just change it - then try boosting 20psi and see how it works out?
