10 milllion mazdas - WHEN???

Hi There!

I'm new in this Mazda Forums. I hope somebody can help me. I've got a simple question about the Mazda Company. Is there anyone who can tell me in which year Mazda has built its 10millionst car? I've got three dates to choose between: In 1966, in 1979 or in 2000? I don't think it was in 1966 because the serial production of cars started not till 1960 but when did they reach the 10 - million - mark?
Can somebody help me answering this question?

1979 They had a total production of 1 Million in 1963 and by 2000 it was over 35 million

Ok, my question is, what is this question for. Sounds like a class of some sort. Is Germany so cool that they have like some sort of automotive class?

Hi!

I don't know how "cool" Germany is but we definitely have some cool Mazdas on the streets. But it's uncool enough not to have a big German mazda forum (like this) in the www. Unfortunately the image of japanese cars in Germany wasn't the best in the past but it's getting better and better at present. I don't know why this was so, 'cause I'm a very convinced Honda-Driver since I've started driving 4 years ago. Maybe you're interested in visiting the biggest German Honda-Forum: it's www.hondapower.de (or: www.hondaforum.de)- just to get an impression how German enthusiasm for import-cars can come to an end... ...or is starting up maybe???...
This question was just for being able to answer some difficult questions on a quiz about Mazda if you really want to know why I'm asking! (yes)
