1.6 or 1.8

this question probably sounds stupid to most of you. how do i find out if the engine is 1.6 or 1.8 ltr? i am not the original owner. thanks

Give us the year and model type (dx, lx, or es). Also, a pic of the engine bay would be great as well.

Look underneath the hood for the specs. If there's no sticker there post as the guy said before me an engine bay pic. I wouldn't rely on the model (LX, ES) since I have an LX with the 1.8L engine from an ES...

If it's an ES, you have a 1.8L.

yup yup, the ES came with only the 1.8L engine! best size EVAR!!!! ...to turbo!
