lol @ in line with everyone else. I've seen bone stock cars run 14 flat...
I guess it was all the drivers then. My friend with his 06' WRX with just a downpipe did 13.3 at that track. When he was stock, he ran 13.8.Not that I expected to be fast or anything (stage 1 flash, motor mounts and coilovers) but it seemed to me that the track was just slow in general. A couple stis ran 13.4's, some wrx's ran 14.2's, new mustang gts ran 14.3's, 2 challengers ran 13.7's and even the fox body's and camaros ran mid to high 13's.
I also have lots of trouble with wheelspin, if i could get my car to hook up in second gear my car would get down the track in mid to low 13s. As most of you guys with just a couple bolt ons could do, I bet. But when the boost comes on well it comes on. The 60ft is my weak point. Maybe i need the driver mod! I also am glad this thread lives. Our track opens April 18 so i hope to see if i can improve last years 13.74. I have more go fast parts on since then.Gawd, it's about time this thread came back to life! WOOHOO for Spring!
The launch is definitely the hardest part. It can be kind of hard to learn to modulate the throttle to not overwhelm the tires. You want to keep them right at the edge of spinning. You should be able to get down to (inconsistent) 2.1 or so 60' times, which would put you knocking on the door to 13s.

But yeah, keep practicing on launching. It'll help out a lot.
a sturdier rear motor mount should fix that for you. Just adding that worked for me. the tires will spin nicely on smooth pavement.i ******* hate launching this car. all i do is hop or bog

+1, I have a rear MM and tranny mount and had absolutely no wheel hop just smooth spinning, lol.
your 60 ft i believe is the milestone for us. Very excellent!I still only get 1.8 60' times with the TRZ mounts and slicks. Trust me once you have slicks, there is no need for traction bars. Heat up those tires and they just hook and go. There is no more traction to be had. The car may be able to do better than 1.8 60's but i dont think the driveline can handle it. I launch mine at 3800rpm banging off the 2 step. I dont just dump the clutch though. I really dont think the half shafts and/or differential could handle that. I do a quick slip and i'm off.
