i don't drive my car at all since i have a dd. since i've gotten my fmic i actually want to drive it more because i can stay out of boost so it's easier to drive (headshakebut i know if i want to get on it i know it will. but back on topic

so how does the fmic help you stay out of boost ???? (laugh) after i got my fmic I found it harder to stay out of boost (yes)

if i ease on the throttle it's harder to build pressure and with my boost gauge it helps me know when to give and let off throttle.

I really am not a fan of front mounts, it just block too much air. I guess its ok for a street car since your never really pushing the car for extended periods o time, but Id like to develop something else, perhaps laying down the IC in the front and having ducting so the air exits about the bottom of the car. Mazda had a competition manual for FB rx7 race cars and did this to a oil cooler with huge reduction in temps.

do u mean a vmount intercooler?

and what air is it blocking?

or are trying to say a core that lays flat underneath the car?

so the past 2 days i spent installing my dp and my pg mani and man what a b**** of an install that was. but the outcome was worth it. i will be dynoing my car again once i get my standback package in about 2 weeks and can get the car dialed in. i need the standback because i can't drive the car aggressive without hitting boost cut in 4, 5, 6. i'm hoping with this tune and what i've got done i will be putting between 320-350whp. in the next month i still have to upgrade the inlet pipe, upgraded fuel pump internals, and one step colder plugs. i'll keep this updated as i receive my stuff.

Is there somewhere in the greater STLO area to run 1/4? Does Gateway have open days in the spring/summer? Be interested to know what you'd run after getting it dialed in with the standback.

320/350 WHP...? Sorry to bust your bubble...but I highly doubt it... You'll most likely be slightly under 300WHP.

depends, if he goes fully bolted with a tuned standback hell def hit well over 300, depending on the dyno 315 to 330

fully bolted with a standback with meth hit 327 in front of my eyes so yes it will lol

not really lol, someone put down 25x with a ap, intake and a tp i think if i remem right

hmm. i think i'm gonna dyno it again to see how much i gained with those 2 mods. then i'll do another dyno once the car is dialed and i have all my mods. i'm pretty sure though those 2 mods put me over 300 because i'm sure those mods gave me more than 20 whp.

Just noticed you're in the lou...same here...what about rods? Thinking with those mods you'll be close to engine blowing range....

nah it wont blow the car only has 4000 on it and it mostly babied. plus ill just tow it back to my house un bolt everything then get it towed to the dealer
