I left the moonroof of my 2007 Speed6 GT tilted open last night in my garage. This morning I got in and started driving to work and went to close it, so I hit the tilt close button. Unfortunately, the moonroof started sliding open. I’ve had minor issues like this in the past (2-3 years ago) where it would do the wrong action when I hit the button, but they went away and haven’t come back. Anyway, I figured it was something similar and just kept hitting the buttons like I used to do in order for it to correct itself.
This time, however, it opened all the way and now it won’t do anything. When I hit the tilt close button I can hear what says like a wiring harness relay being engaged, but nothing happens. When I hit the Slide Open/Close buttons, nothing happens at all, nothing even sounds like it’s trying to happen.
Has anyone encountered anything similar? I’m hoping I don’t have to take this in to the dealer to fix it, but it sounds like I may have to…
