Hopefully this will help but Retighten the bolts under the front windshield in the cowl area. They are know to get loose. You have to pull of the wipers and wiper cowls but you will find about 7 or 8 10mm bolts. I work for Mazda and have seen them loose all the time. LEt me know if its fixed it. Hit me up on my site

2007 m3

2 problems my a/c will not turn on but after driving for awhile it will start. It seems to be in the switch. The dealer could not find the problem. Is there an easy fix?
The car rattles it is in the dash and under the drivers side front wheel. It is so frustrating.(chair)
I want to sell it but can not because of these problems the dealer can not seem to hear or fix. If I did not have these problems I would love the car.
Does anyone know how to fix these problems????
Please help!

problems with a/c blower

I took my 2007 3 S Touring to the dealer last summer (2008) after the air conditioner quit working. They replaced the unit but didn't charge me for labor since I was about 1000 miles over my warranty. I had also complained that before the a/c unit froze up, the blower wasn't working on occasion. Sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn't. The dealer said it was probably related to the a/c unit going bad so they never did anything about it.

About a month ago my blower stopped working again. Because I have never found any dealer to be competent in the service department (sorry, lots of bad experiences), I took it to a friend of mine that is a mechanic and actually knows how to fix cars. He said that one of the magnets or something in the motor was bad and that the blower will work for a while, but if I shut the car off and the bad magnet stops in the wrong position, it won't work the next time I start the car. Normal driving over bumps and whatever can shake the motor around until a good magnet gets into position and the blower will suddenly start working again. This explains why sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't. This also explains why the blower makes a ticking noise when it's running.

Bad news is that the blower requires a dashboard pull. It's around $325 to replace. The parts for mine have been ordered for over a week. Just waiting...

Good luck!
