bought my racing beat exhaust for my 02 mp5 from FoxPro5. he shipped it sunday i sent money saturday and it came today wednesday and i installed it and love it. had to take it to a muffler shop to do it cause the nuts were rusted on but otherwise love it. huge thumbs up to FoxPro5 (Great Seller)

I'm considering buying an exhaust but don't want one that's too loud. I want a deep tone that only gets a little louder when I excelerate. Just curious, how loud is yours?

SP5

Mine will be here Tuesday......can't wait to install it, but that won't happen until next weekend at the earliest. Let us know your thoughts on it.........(cheers)

I've put the same thing on my 2002.5 P5.. sounds incredible.. :)
And my bolts were so rusted that I took it to Merchants and they torched them off.. price was $84! :(
but.. i'm happy with the results.

^^^^ummmm, lisakay, isn't that the Mazdaspeed axle-back? (confused)

the racing beat exhaust is nice and mellow. everyone who i've revved it for has said that it is a NICE SOUNDING exhaust. i love how you can still hear the intake over the exhaust at freeway speeds. i think it's by far the best SOUNDING exhaust out there. the drawbacks to its quietness is that it's really heavy. the resonator and the muffler sections weigh almost as much as the stock section. the good thing though, is you gain almost 5whp with the exhaust alone. it's definitely worth it.

i absolutly love the exhaust. i had to pay to have it installed because the bolts were rusted on so bad but it was only $30 at House of Mufflers since they took the air wrench to it. but when u start the car it purs really nicely. reminds me of the magnaflow exhaust i had on my GTI. and then at normal crusing speeds its not loud at all so its not the rice burner exhausts hondas have. but at highway speeds its a great low rumble. the one downfall to the exhaust is only minimul but i guess liveable. I havnt had my CD player on since I isntalled it :)

That's what I plan to put on.. RB cat-back .. just waiting for a good GB;)
They actually publish realistic dyno results too.

it's all good. just trying to make sure some of the new guys aren't misled. lol at any rate, glad you like it! (cheers)

I'm still learning the whole "car thing".. my last car was nothing to mod.. so i'm pretty excited about learning the whole thing. :)

I just installed my new MSP Racing Beat axel back yesterday. It sounds just pain beautiful. Not overpowering, or ricey at all. Since it came off the MSP I have to have it cut down becuase right now it sticks out like my car has a tail. Here is a pic.

I've checked around but couldn't find this anywhere...

What's the tip diameter for the RB and the Mazdaspeed? I'm considering both right now, but don't want the rice-can punked out look that's common here. Thanks!

idk the RB but the MS one is a 4" diameter

i think if you want really low deep tone sound.
go with RB cat back!!! :)
but I also heard Magnaflow cat back has good sound too.

This is the pic of the exhaust b4 I sold it to Red devil. It's NOT the sport exhaust form the dealer, it's a modified MSP axle back...nice sound, but it droned too much for me...I'll be getting a JIC soon:D
