They are both MazdaSpeed exhausts, but Lisakay's is specifically for the P5 while Altitudes is for the MSP, which is 5" +/- LONGER than the wagon. That is why, in the original pic, it stuck out from the rear bumper like morning wood. After it was cut, however, it looks pretty damn good. (cheers)

"morning wood" (laugh)

yep.. mine is the Sport Exhaust factory aftermarket for the 5.. and it sounds soooooo gooood. :D

anyine ever see the movie Office Space... if so.. Morningwood is the name of the apartment complex that the main character Peter lived in...

i thought that was pretty funny... i only noticed it like after the 20th time watching the movie...

I've seen it.. I loved the part where he kept moving his cubicle walls... :)
so.. (off topic) do most guys usually wake up with morning wood?

i'll assume that is a yes... (naughty) I hope you are sleeping with someone.. :D

right... lets get this back on topic.
sorry for the highjack. (sad2)

haha... ok if u insist.

i actually checked mazdaformance.com foe the MSP exhaust for a P5. they sell the axle back for $195 which is very reasonable in my opinion... i remember paying something like $795 for a Tanabe exhaust back in the day when i drove a Integra...

and the cool thing is... i found out that website store thingy is only like 5 minutes from my house here in houston. ill have to pay taxes on it but ill get it QUICK...

When I checked at the dealer for the exhaust, they wanted $229.. I got mine from a local friend of mine.. only $100. :)

wow $100. thats a very good price...

i not looking for something very loud or to get an extra 1hp gain... i just like the bling bling factor of having a stainless steel exhaust... hehe

Yeah.. I didn't care much about HP gain either.. I just wanted something with a deeper sound.. it does get a bit annoying on the highway going 80 mph because you have to turn up the radio a bit louder.. hee hee.. I wouldn't say mine is "louder", I would call it a deeper sound.

After helping a friend install the RB catback last weekend, I now have it on my shopping list. Very good sound and really easy install.

The exhaust on my daily isn't too loud. Pretty low tone and enough to notice. 95 Neon makes a nice popping sound when slowing down in gear. Does not sound like some of the rice around here, ie.- "weedeater on crack"
