Got some heavy lake effect snow at my University today which is rare for the area

That's too bad, there's nothing like a fresh blanket of snow to create a mood of quiet tranquility and a special feeling of mystical magic.

Where I live only those with bald tires or who don't have good snow driving skills dislike fresh snowfall. The rest of us go skiing and have a wonderful time.

Yep, that will never happen here in Austin either. I mean we occasionally get snow but never that much and it usually melts when the sun comes out.
