In a few months im about to change my current rims to more bigger ones, but i need to know whats the best size for my MSP in terms of performance and looks and what type of tire do you recommend for that size, some pictures of your cars with that size of wheel would be nice.

Im planing on buying this ones

if you going to 18's you gona wana run a 40 or 35 series to keep from getting to tall of a wheel and tire setup than stock. i would recommend staying with a 17 tho.

Yeah, Im thinking 17" might be the right choice, more in terms of handling than looks, what do you recommend me for the tire setup?

I see you make no note of what your suspension setup is as well. Nor what the full specs of your wheel is... 17x?? and offset of ??.. These are key things we need to know.

Right, sorry, for suspension I have Megan Racing springs that lowered the car approx 2"(don't mind the car photos, they are not updated) and the wheel Im more likely to buy are 17x9 25mm offset.

wow that's a very aggressive setup. your gona poke like crazy with that setup. but if your gona run that wide then maybe 215 40s.

What would you do in my position?, id like to know what people think to make a decision ;)

Find a higher offset wheel. My other set is 17x8 245 40s. But to fit them I have mad camber and all the fenders rolled.

3.5 front 2.3 rear. i maxed out the rear and still rubbed on big dips. by far i should have gone with a 235. as high as i am now im gona raise the front even more so i don't eat my fender at the next autocross event.

How can you know the camber? :/ i mean, i know about cars but I suck about knowing things about wheels, tires, suspension and things like that lol, thats why Im making this thread so people like you guys help me out lol ;)

If your gona go with a 8" rim I wouldn't go any higher than 42 offset. Unless you get coilovers so you have more adjustment.

Ok explain me the thing about the offset, what does it really do to the car? and the cumber...I dont have coilcovers now because I know there good to adjust your height to whatever height you want but there very expensive(at least the ones that ive been checking out). Like I said, I only have the megan racing springs that lowered the car 2", if I want to buy the rims i put above( 17x9 25mm offset) its good, bad considering a nice tire setup?

Here's pretty close to what you want. 17x9.75 25 offset. See how much poke there is. Unless you like that.

No haven't, it came with a 15" wheel traklite when i bought the car thats why im so lost, I wound mind having this setup unless its bad to race with it lol...it seem pretty legit, if that's your car... looks awesome! I exchange my front bumper for the MP3 one and having trouble on finding the MSP front lip for that times when I get bored of the MP3 looks and planing on buying the subaru front lip almost like the one in the photo above. then the recommended tire for for it is 215 40s?

thats not mine its another members. theres no way your gona be able to race with that. thats gona rub like crazy or unseat the bead. you can fit 215s on theres but there gona be super streched. this is my agressive setup 17x8 45 offset. but im running a 245/40 r17
