Good job mp5raycer! I'm new, so please forgive me if this is somewhere in the foum. But how did you get your engine cover red? Did you use the same paint as you would use on the calipers?

Oh, ok In that case, I think it would look good on your car. I like the red on black look.

Hell, I just realized you are in Knoxville, TN... I have a really good friend that is working on her Phd in Chemistry in Knoxville (UT) right now. If you see a little blue civic EX with a Mississippi State tag on the front, look out!

The only question I have about your car is.... What is that on the front of the radio, a cell phone holder? Doesn't it get in the way of the controls?

hey all thanks for the feed back.. and aboutthe radio yeah its a Nokia Installed car kit .. and there is only two options .. 1 i bolt it to the dash board or two wait for the roadio adapter plate .. so for now i took out that plastic spacer where the tape player could go and have the phone holder bracket wedged in there for now .. and all it does is get in the way of fast forwarding a song or hitting the 5 and 6 radio channel but no biggie there... check out the negative flip i put on this one

I love the rims, but what's that on your gas door? I hope that's not some type of vinyl. If so I have to say that is ugly. I'm not sure if it's just a wierd reflection or not.

well actually it is carbon fiber vinyl i only used it for my interior also the door handles and gas door .. sorry you dont like it others love it

To each his own. It just reminds me of those hooptys that have the chrome color vinyl on the gas door, and on the door handles. I just think it disrupts the lines and the clean look of the car.

actualy that engine bay isn't white, it's silver, the camera flash at night made it look white, notice the heatshield looks white as well (you know it's silver) because I think it's my engine bay. I recently did a HOW-TO on painting your valve cover, check the how-to section. The reason I can tell it's mine is the little knick on the red strut bar, on the middle leftish side of it, the paint scratched off showing the metal. MP5Raycer, did you get it from me or did someone else paint their valve cover?
