afterthought?

this green wire runs around under the airbox (generally) sure looks like an afterthought, maybe even dealer, or from the guy I bought it from, but that is unlikely

anyone know what it is for?

No idea what it's for, but you're right... looks very much like it wasn't factory installed.

It is present on my car too. Never bothered my enough to trace where it goes. Maybe this weekend if I'm not too lazy to install my new intake silicone.

suposed to be there. on everyones car. well i cant garenty everyones car i have not looked under the hood of everyones car. that might sound a lil dirty. but under my hood and all the cars ive seen
