Tail lights?

ordered, im hoping that shipping doesent take 28374983274 years and i get them by next week. going from Cali to VA idk what to expect

I hope those are actually good quality. I see ricer honda's with wannabe LED's lights and most of the time they either give out an uneven lighting at different angles or many of the led's are burnt out.

when i get em ill put em on and let everyone see, if they are rice or look like s*** im taking them off.

i have some in my sedan and love um.. mine arent the blacked out ones tho...i wish i saw the blacked out ones before i got these..

heres a couple older ones,,,sorry they are huge / blurry..i need to upload some into photobucket..

wow. I have never been a fan of replacing tail lights but those are clean. i'd probably still tint them red though since I have a black ms3 :)

Thanks. I think i am going to Smoke them just a litte so the dont look so chrome inside.. ive ben busy with other areas of my car lol

update: well they are installed. they are secs at night man, but im not really liking them during the day. the LEDs are bright as hell, and the turn signal seems more yellow with the smoked lens. i added reverse LED bulbs so it just adds to it that much more. Ill take some pics today during the day, and ill take sum tonight as well and post them either tonight or tomorrow in the AM.

Fitment: is ok, not the best though. better than ive seen for some aftermarket tails, and installation is pretty much straight forward. The sockets for the bulbs were tight, so tight you couldn't get them in so i had to trim away some of the plastic to get the bulb in. This may have been the difference between the pre 06 and the 07-08 tails. overall im happy, but i might get some tint to put over to cover the daytime look.

SICKEST taillights for the hatchback ms3 are these:

but someone custom made them. I prefer the led circular shape as opposed to the random placement of leds everywhere.

I made custom led tails for my mr2 widebody to look like a G35. Melted the lights apart and then put truck leds inside but placked out the middle ones so it looks like a circle. let the wire come out the socket holes and melted them back together:

if there was enough room to do this inside of the ms3 lights I would totally do this again.

there is a gap issue, the light that is attatched to the hatch dosent seem fit the same on both sides. its hard to explain but it has a piece that slides around the corner of the hatch ont he inside, and then has some weird OEM clips that hold it from the inside of the hatch were you change the bulbs. Now you could probably work with it a little to get the gap to be the same on the left and right side of the hatch, but i didnt wanna fudge with it. This issue causes an uneven gap between the hatch part of the tailight, and the body part of the tail. The hatch will close with no issue, just one side has a little more gap than the other. Also there is the bulb socket issue stated above. other than that everything else is good.
