tint tails

so i am buying night shades and doing my tails not sure what im doing yet. these are some of my ideas lets here your opinions. or if you have any other ideas or tip/ advice on doing it let me know never done it before.

so 2 of the pics look the same i gues i didnt make the shades different enough. when blown up you can notice but one the 2 circles will be a lighter shade that will be noticable

gotta with with the whole thing blacked out. i think im going to go with the same thing with VHT. is that what your using? please tell list the steps your going to use and what products. Also before and after pics would be cool. i currently have bad tint on my tails but totally tinted out is the way to go looks great i feel. make sure there not to dark tho. need to be able to see during the day. when do u plan on doing this?

yeah im using VHT and i am probably going to go with all black maybe make the circle a little lighter and see if i like it and if i dont ill just darken them up but probably within a week if its nice weather here

how did you guys do your tails. what product and sanding paper? also are your tails to drak to see during the day? maybe you could put some pictures of you breaking during the day far away??

it's easier just to get Rockblockers tailight laminex... you dont have to permenantly ruin your lights and can take the tint off if you decide you dont like it...I am about to buy a pair for my tails

Rockerblocker doesnt sell the laminex for protege5's anymore because they were to hard to install...i already tried buying them...

that's a bummer...did you try that other website...Bat-something.com ...I want to say batmobile.com but i dont think that's it.

Will do. I'll probably be looking into it this weekend...but remember I have an MSP so I might be able to find something to fit mine, but they might not make P5 stuff...I dunno. worst case scenario is that you could just buy a small sheet of the stuff and cut it out like a DIY project....I mean thats all they do at rockblocker...I had to trim my headlight laminex because they made them waaay too big for the lights.

just do little coats and let them dry untill your satisfied. mine are not to dark at all. i would show you but in pitures it lookes really black but its not
even after my first small coat it looked like stock but had a tiny tint to it made it look agressive but i sprayed more cuz i wanted them dark.

um not sure really really fine stuff ill take some pics soon i have a rough clear coat on now and tomoroguna wet sand that and clear it again so it turns out better
