What have you done to your P5 today?

i got the rear half of my car tinted over the weekend. 5% on the rear window with 2.5% on the rear doors and sail windows. gettin 20% on the front doors with 5% reflective on the sunroof.
its illegal as s*** but idc :D

if cops are as bad around ur area as they are in some parts of FL ie; Daytona...hope you plan on riding around with ur windows down alot....or prepare for a lot of tickets....

speaking of tint i need to get my windows re-tinted little darker than they are now....

gonna go 15% in back of the car...and on the sunroof....and 20% on front windows and of course the 15% windshield strip....

i still gotta take mine back to get it fixed. i still have pin head bubble-rash in a few places they need to fix. and the bottom of the strip is coming off. i think it was too cold the day they did it. my friend said they are asses about fixing it too. but o well.

I finally got them to light up!!!
Look look:

Now I need to get them to work.
If I remove the oil filter, will oil come squirting out the hole?
Where can I hook up by boost sensor to? (I know it wont read boost I just want to have it done.)

Ahhh yea that is sweet! I think I hooked mine up white. That looks sweet though. Hopefully white looks nice, I'm feeling too lazy to switch the colors.

You can put a tee in the brake booster line. Not sure about the oil part.

looks pretty nasty. is the bushing off when its installed as well?

The bottom rubber part should be attached, but the top part is free. Basically just look for big rips in the rubber... if it looks like mine there, zomg you have problems :)

I'll have to change the daytime running to white cause it's hard to see in amber.
Hey how is your ordeal coming allong?

hard to see in amber? you sure you aren't using it in red (neither the orange or white wires hooked up puts it in red mode)? right now I'm doing red all the time and yeah.. you can't at all see it during the day. Now that I have a head unit with full white lighting, I'll do white :) it's definitely visible during the day in white, I never had a problem.

The motor is out, all my gauges are wired except the sensors in the engine bay which will be easy. Now I just have to wire up the Microtech and get that damn bolt out of the block (hand)

A couple pics attached

Ordered RR-Racing motor mount inserts (F/R). Hopefully that will help some w/ the driveline lash. I've heard good 1st hand accounts abt them.

Barely noticable with an auto trans. I would imagine a manual would be even better since you can push in the clutch and take the load off. When I had my SU front mount and I was stopped at a traffic light I would throw it into neutral just to try to cut down on my dashboard rattling apart. My buddy that I carpool with that is by no means a "car guy" could not even tell that there was a difference in the mounts. It's that good. Don't get me wrong, the AWR and the SU mounts both are very nice, but you got vibrations with em. The SLS is virtually un-noticable.

okie. how bad is it though? dont wanna shake my mom or g/f to death. lol

Im waiting for my SU rear and side mounts to come. I have the SLS front. Couldnt wait any longer for SLS to get the other mounts released

have fun meaining................................. ?

your worst nightmare. Well maybe if your car is low mileage enough, the dash won't rattle so badly that it feels like it's falling apart.

hey Chris, have you heard anything about the SU mounts?

it already does that. Plus, I'm not getting a 'soild' mount, both just inserts. I've riddent in a MSP that had the same setup I'm getting. I can live w/ it if it gets rid of a bit of wheel hot and drive lash
