Ok, I am a noob when it comes to digital cameras and need help. I have a Fuji Finepix A340 and it is good for my needs (point and shoot) but lately I have been having problems when taking daytime pics outside. They are coming out blurry and I don't know why. I have cleaned the lens and have tried taking pics with macro mode on and off and still getting the same results. Pics taken inside and outside at night are just fine....so some sort of light sensitivity?

Here are some pics of the MPV I took the other day....please help with any/all suggestions/tips/etc. Thanks!

**edit**not sure what happened but the black lines are not present in my pics, just the blurred/fuzzy ones.

oooh.... my housemates Canon camera started doing the same thing! She had to send the camera in to get fixed under warranty. it has something to do with the CCD sensor. Hope your camera is under warranty.

example from her camera (which ruined all the pics at the LA Auto show last year):

Thanks...I just called a local camera shop and an estimate to fix the CCD is $140. Guy told me to come in as he has some 6 mega-pixels selling for $150.

Yeah, all the major camera makers have had CCD defect issues in the past couple years.

Check with your camera manufacturer, it might be under warranty since it is a known defect

^^^Thanks Chris....that would be nice if it is covered under warranty due to a defect as there has already been a human defect (I didn't extend my warranty last year....DOH!!!!)
