I installed them a little while ago. I went with the 8k kit I like it but now I think I need to change my Stock HID Headlights. Just gotta figure out how to get them out now and what kind they are LOL. What do you think?

thanks alot. im gonna buy these. what type of bulbs are in the speed 6 fogs? also, can you basically summarize the time it took you and the main steps one must take? thanks.

I know people were going back and forth about what kind they were but the are for sure H11.

See Picture that is stock bulb I pulled out. So the Mazdaspeed Fogs are H11 so everyone knows!

I'm working on the walk through but in a quick explaination. These were a different kit then I have installed before. I had to run a cable to the battery for the ballasts and ground a cable, Then cut my factory foglight cable and hardwire it to the cable on the ballast wiring harness (plugs did not match up) and then put the HID bulbs in and plug them up, Now the passengerside bulb was a little difficult to put in becuase the Horn and washshield washer res was there so I had to bend the bracket that held the horn to get my hand in there. The install took about an Hour and a Half might have been a little quicker if I was not taking pictures.

thanks for the links, can't wait for the how-to man. Do you think you could get some more pics. Maybe further from the front of the car (too see what on coming traffic sees) and maybe on with the light patter with the fogs off, and on with the fogs on?

kick ass thanks. Just wanted to make sure it wasn't going to blind anybody. thanks. May have to grab me set in the future.

What colour were your HIDs in your headlights before you changed them ? 6000K ?

I just picked up a set of fogs and I am running a GB on HID lights for other boards - I'm thinking of treating myself :P
