What have you done to your P5 today?

I'll probably have it back on when I'm finishing things up... but after working all day yesterday only to be stopped by an intercooler piping u-bend that needed to be 3 inches less wide and not having a 45-degree 10AN fitting, I had about enough of that.

At least now that my car is visually and 95% mechanically back together I can look at my sig pic and dream of driving her again.

Damn, this thread makes me want to do soooo much more with the P5!! But it's not to be. We've got no $$ (both in school, 19 month old baby, no jobs!) also, the P5 is still under warrenty, and my wife is reluctant to let me do anything that could **** that up!

I did polish the Injen CAI I've got sitting around this weekend, I'll see if I can find time to get that on the car soon.

For the record: Mothers Polish is the s***! I find that most things I buy dissapoint me, or at best meet my minimum expectations, this stuff took the intake piping from "I guess that's metal" to "Holy s***, it's a tubular mirror" in about 5 minutes. Good stuff!

Not much done today since there were other things to do (21st birthday (glare) )... I did end up getting the intake assembly off and drain the oil and coolant. I ended up soaking all the exhaust manifold, intake manifold and precat nuts and bolts in PB Blaster so hopefully everything will come off nice and easily tomorrow. I also worked out my oil feed line integration so hopefully tomorrow will be very productive assuming everything comes off when it should...

check it out

look at what i just got back from the body shop today yes it is cf

Cool car!

I wanted to leave part of my CF hood unpainted but when the shop sanded the original paint off the hood the gelcoat on the CF wasn't looking too hot so it wouldn't have looked right. I was going to do a "zoom-zoom" right above one of the headlights or something.

Finally have something to say on this thread!

Installed--MAM Guage rings! Wow, even better looking in person!
