Damn Mopar taking forever to send me the engine block is giving me way too much time to think about things...

I just ordered a bunch of stuff to convert the car to a 4speed manual transmission. I will be using passon performances transmission internals, a mcleod dual disk clutch, and a verti-gate shifter. The shifter is pretty neat, the shifter is in-line, meaning no H-pattern. Just pull straight down and up for the gears.

Undercoating removal is pretty much done. I have to clean it all up and decide what to paint it.
 
I've always wanted a Manual transmission muscle car, and decided I was going to do it. Should be fun at Limerock or Watkins Glen.
 
Actually the passon internals is an o/d unit. The gear ratios are closer together also. I believe they are 2.66, 1.59, 1.00, and .80.
 
Been a long time since I have updated this. Plans changed along the way some. I have around 20k of parts sitting in the garage, still waiting for more (Like the engine block I ordered from Mopar last october.)
I have this round:
12.5" rotors drilled and slotted, 4-piston calipers for the front
12.2" rotors drilled and slotted , 4-piston calipers for the rear.
Tubular control arms, and strut rods.
Fully braced k-member and lower control arms.
Custom 3/4"dropped spindles,
Double adjustable front and rear shocks,
Tremec TKO-600 5spd manual,
Xhd- leaf springs,
Custom Dana 60 w/ 3.73 gears


I will be ordering a set of Indy 360-2 heads for the motor. I have been doing some more research.... why go for 820-850hp when you can go for 900-950hp for alot more? lol

The wheel tubs are moved in to the frame. I have to cut the floor out to put the tremec in, after that the Dana goes in, then the bottom gets fully stripped and painted, then the front suspension goes in, brakes, order the wheels, then wait for the engine.

Yeah, got the deal of the century. A 2500dollar transmission for 2500dollars! lol
The company I bought it from actually has a warranty for 900hp. The Passion set-up I was looking at before was an iffy 700hp.

Lol about the Mam comment. I have been waiting for a bare block for almost a full year. I think Mam could do better than Mopar at this point.
 
Almost all the fabrication is done!!

Both seats have mounts. and have been mounted in the car. I am def. regretting the rollbar guy talking me out of the swing-out bars for the doors. There is no way I can gain weight because I won't be able to get in or out of the car. lol

Side note I ordered the rear wheels... 17 x 11 Torque Thrust 2's w/ custom backspacing....$$$
 
Well I mocked the rear wheels and tires today. They fill the well pretty good. Got the measurements for the rear axle and will order that tommorow.
