Anyone have any experience with completing maintenance issues in apartments.
Here's my situation:
About 2 months ago I noticed that my garage ceiler is leaking throught the light fixture and through a "patch" someone has made prior to me moving in. To this date I've placed 7 phone calls to the maint. dept. I have had the supervisor, or I think he's the supervisor here 2 times. The first time he believed me about the leak and offered to send a tech here the following Mon. I left my car outside, and the garage open. No one showed up until wed, when I decided I'm not leaving my car out on a chance they will show up. We return home from work to find a note that a tech was here but noone was home....okay. This was prior to Thanksgiving. After 2 more weeks I placed a follow up call and had the supervisor here that night to look at it again...this time he wants to argue with me that the ceiling is not leaking (WTF). After my car sat in the garage all day it was soaked and the plaster/drywall is bubbling and falling onto our cars. He says he'll send a tech here the next day. Okay one more chance, I leave the car outside with the door open all the way. Again we return to find a note that they were here but noone was home. So, I call and leave a very distressed message laying out that noone will be here as we both work all day, but we'll leave the door open to the garage and no car will be in there. For the past 3 business days I've left this message. Needless to say I have no idea where to turn.
If you completed this little background, I'd appreciate any advise, legal or otherwise as to how to handle these fuckers. Oh, and we have noted the dates of my messages and all communications with the maint dept, just in case.
Thank you
