so you see the lines outlined in yellow,they give a nice flow down the hood,then you add in the line out lined in white,and it causes interference with the yellow lines,seen in black.
this is just my opinion,if you don't agree,it's your choice,but don't try to change my mind.

now im not raggin on this hood at all. i put in some deep consideration when i bought mine on getting the gemini. i think it looks GREAT! however............i go to UH and there are 2 STI's and 1 evo i see on a weekly basis with the same style hood and mainly the reason i didn't get the gemini was because i want to paint the sides of my hood like this one. if the lines are broken i cant paint it that way. i know i can paint it like bigwoofer did his, but i didn't want to do that. but like i said, im not raggin on the gemini. awesome hood!

yeah thats what I thought you were gonna say. but the parts I circled on this pic need to be that way to it can flow better with the lip. If you actuall follow a straight line from the top of the hood to the base, you'll see that it matches up after the lip. Plus, it looks a lot better up close that in the pics.

yeah, I know your not raggin on gemini. I bought this hood cause I dont see these types of hoods around here on any type of car from any year. its a plus for me

This is the hood I am going to use for the project ,and I have had these vents lying around for ever....so I just put the two together to see what they look like.

it would look alright, not my cup of tea, but it would look ok. personally, i want a SLP type hood.. but u know the 2000 front end has to be differant....
start posting differant hood scoops and we can give our opinion on them, just start putting links..

i always wanted to see a hood where the corners extend to overlap the headlights. also a different type of ram air vent.
