Making Custom hood...Need input,opinions and more.

I personaly don't agree with putting a hood on a car,that is modeled off of a production car of a different make,even worse when it's a superior make.one phrase comes to mind "poser"

i personally like the 02 model sti style scoop, a company made them for the pro, but since went out of buisiness, let me dig up a pictures..

you guys are just not left with much option,lets see;
evo hood
WRX style
APC (pepboys brand)
OEM not bad,but not vented
the vented one(cost almost $1000)
the gemini hood(nice hood,but goes against the lines on the protege)


so,from what I see you guys end up making your cars look like other manufacturers cars because you aren't left with much choice.

whoever said the gemini hood doesn't flow with the protege lines is on crack. I have the hood and everytime I go near my care I just stare at the hood for a while before getting in. Best hood out for the protege right now. Forcefed, you should make a hood like gemini's, lots of people still want it so there is def a market there

See this is what is confusiong....I am not trying to market this hood....I just want to make myself a ONE OFF hood no one has...I am sure I will sell it off at some point but this is strictly for my own car...Making a SINGLE hood....not produced.

I actually considered louvering the raised section behind the headlights....SO you are not that far off...Gotta bring back the old school some time!
