looks good, but dont put that much of a rise in it on the sides imo
Hey you got it right...I DONT want a RISE at ALL...I want the stock hood lines..including the drop between the headlights to stay...I also want to keep the center body line of the hood intact as it blends into the scoop area about 10-12'' back from the grille(this measurement refers to the body line only, not to the scoop location),and the scoop will drop even lower into the bay. This is hard to describe, but I basically want cut a hole and plop the mustang scoop section right onto the protege hood with a little blending and modding.Try making that pic nate...I hope you understand what i am referring to ..and that last pic looked great if it dint have the rise effect to it.I want to keep the hood low profile for now...The picture you used was perfect as well...good shot and angle.

Yeah that looks a lot better....The first redone pic is a little off center though...It looks like its out of rotation with the car or something...the other one really loks like its right in place..

I couldn't get it exactly right because the donor pic was at a bit higher angle than your car and showed less curvature

I've nudged it a little bit more..

Let me see if i can find a better donor pic...I think the vent just needs shifted toward the drivers side.If you look at the front it is way out of center.

this thread is cool as hell since Nate got into the mix,but now I got to make myself a custom hood, damn.

you need to project the lines of the vent forward, you'll see they aren't really out of center

what's throwing you off is the lack of curvature
