Pictures of raised floor w/ or w/o Subwoofer

I am looking for some pictures of the raised floor for the P5, I am working on a 2 amp, 1 crossover install and I wanted to know if the raised floor would give me enough room for the equipment. The 4-channel amp is about 12 inches long and the 2 channel is about 8 inches. I have a bridge for them but I doubt it is long enough for 20 inches plus the width of the bridge. If anyone has any imput on this let me know.

Thanks

are you looking for something like this?

Yeah that helps, but I was looking to see what it looked like with the carpet and cover removed to see the distance between the spare tire and the bottom of the plastic cover and to see how far apart the risers were to fit an amp in between the risers.

I'm currently building a raised floor in my P5. I was wondering about heat in it though. How well does it need to be ventilated? I was planning on installing 4 4" fans to create a crossflow of air to help keep the jl 500/5 cool. Will that be enough? Is it overkill? It will have a plexiglass top and some blue LED's to light it up and make it look slick.

I was thinking about that myself, the amps that I have are major heat producers and they have cut off many times before due to heat I was thinking there is a vent on the bottom passenger side near the bumper but that would be too far to pull the hot air from.

Also, I appreciate the pictures but I am looking for pictures of the factory floor risers to see what the height is.

Here's a tip. One fan blowing air in and one fan blowing air out equals the airflow of one fan. Two fans blowing air in and no fans blowing air out equals the airflow of...two fans.

Its basic physics. The air has to go somewhere so if you make an opening on the opposite side of your amplifier rack, the air will make it there eventually.

Two 4" fans should be enough.

I was planning on 2 fans blowing in on one side, 2 fans blowing out on the other side. Are you saying I only need 2 fans blowing in and a hole in the other side?

I would do a hole on one side and fans only blowing out on the other. This way the outward flowing fans will suck air into the amp rack and push it back out.

Hi!

Here is a picture of my in progress installation:

I will put a 1/4in plexiglass to cover the amps. I will put 2 fans and drill some holes in the plexi to let the heat get out. There is a lot of work in this trunk and a whole lot to put to finish it but it's going well!
