I recently install my MAM sleeper kit and will be replacing the stock fans with spal 12" & 9". Right now the thermostat and fans would be fighting each other right? Turn on for like 20 seconds and shut off.... By putting the sensor in the bottom hose you make the two work together. Thermostat keeping the motor at a constant temperature and the fan keeping the return coolant at a cooler temperature.
