There's actually quite the number of posts about this...

I lost a lip doing triple digits in another car once (whups). So I don't want to take any chances with body pieces flying off again.

Everyone says double-sided tape but I think I'm going to epoxy some brackets to the inside of the lip on the top. Then bend them over the opening. Call me Mr. Cliche, but it's better to be safe than sorry. :)

I don't know s*** about autobody, but I am interested in what it cost to have something like that done(molding),excluding paint.

I'm not sure about the urethane lip but mine was more rigid b.c it was CF and it held on fine without screws. I put them in just to be safe but the thing never moved at all. I would think the urethane one might flex some and be more likely to come off but mine was so stiff that I had problems taking it off when I needed to lol

Molded usually means there's no seems... making it a permanent thing almost. I would never want that with any add-on body piece.

I did plan on using a little 'glue' (for lack of a better word), but it will be removable if I needed it to be with a little work.

used double sided tape on mine. held up for year now through heat, rain and tail of the dragon without any problems. double sided tape is enough but use a good one such as 3m red one.

Yea... the guy at the body shop mentioned the molding thing. I think it looks great. I don't plan on removing my lip ever, so I may consider it. Double sided tape doesn't work well with my lip for some reason.
