Anyone heard about this?? Happened last night.......talk about ouch. I am glad i sold my bike....................

Anchorage, Alaska - A motorcycle rider is dead following a high-speed crash on the Glenn Highway.
The accident happened about 9:30 p.m. Monday.

Anchorage police say the rider was driving northbound on the Glenn when he lost control of his Honda Sportbike just before the Muldoon exit.

Police say witnesses described the rider as driving recklessly at speeds in excess of 100 mph. As the motorcycle drifted off the road, police say, it hit a light pole and the impact severed both the riders legs.

My Wife said that since i sold my bike and bought the P5 that I can do what ever i want as long as my pocket lets me(including her needs as well, a trip to Mexico), which doesnt leave me much after bills. But I told her my next tax return will be new wheels with shoes and some springs. And hopefully a promotion in march if i am lucky.

I miss out on my own promotion by a few months but that still sound like a good deal to me. to bad that it will be very hard to find good deals online that will ship to alaska other wise it would leave you with more change

I see far to many guys who think that a fast bike gives them the right to do whatever they want on the road, and other drivers be damned. This guy was one of those people, and it's a shame he didn't live to learn any sort of lesson.

dont let this scare you away from bikes...
let it scare you away from driving like a ******* ASS on a bike. Respect the bike and respect the road and you're fine...
