On a whim this weekend we decided to tint my tails. Hubby came up w/the design and was of course there to rescue me from ******* them up. :D Please excuse the dirtiness of the car, it was more than 15 mins after the last wash. :p Check it out!

This is until I get the monies for JDMs, I really like that look, until then this will suffice. :D

Niteshades by VHT. I got it from my local speed shop, $8 but I had to have them order it then I just picked it up. I used it for my side markers as well.

Oh s***, is that what yours are like? I'm sorry! Hey man, imitation is the highest form of flattery right? LOL!

you stole my idea! what's most impressive is how you did it using telepathy :D looks good...

HAHAHAHAAA, It looks good tho!! Now its time for me to do my tails,LOL!

Hey Ghost you got a pic of your tails? I couldn't find a pic anywhere, 'course I did a half assed search but still... lol. :D I knew this wasn't an original scheme but I hadn't seen it before. I usually see pics of the front of your car.

My tails are stock. Ill be painting them sometime soon. Now I see how it looks, ill do something similar but you know I have to be different. Ill get my brain to think up an idea.

Oh you haven't done it yet? Well let me give you a tip or two. Easiest way to cover the circles if you're planning on doing it is take masking tape across, take a fine tip permanent marker and mark it out, carefully pull it off, cut out the circle and replace it. The top part was kind of a b**** but if you do it on a sunny day and place a strip of tape down, mark, then do another strip etc, you will be able to see the line due to the sun shining thru the top of the tail. Then just lift the edges and cut off the excess w/a small scissor and place back down. Don't take that tape off or else you'll regret it b/c of the angle of the tails. Course you probably already know all this anyway but still. :D

Sorry for biting your design, but don't blame me, it was aaalllllllll my hubby. Yeah, all him. :D

Nice phish!!!! Ill writeup a how-to in your name!! Full with pics and stuff!

Yeah, now I wish I had taken pics of the process, that would have been a great how-to. F'ing hindsight always 20/20 grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr....
