I have a 2016 CX-5. I've replaced all three of the Bose dash speakers with the Polk db351s. I recommend de-soldering the speaker connectors of the factory speakers to reuse on the DB351s.

Bought my 2016 CX-5 GT last November. At 4800 miles I took it to the dealer for its first oil change. Asked if they could also do the recall fix. I was in and out the door for both in 40 minutes.
The 2.5 turbo in the CX-5 would make it quite the nimble rocket. I bet we'll see that engine first be optioned into the Mazda6. Lack of a V6 or 4 cylinder turbo option is the only thing holding it back.
