Well, I need to see if my 2015 CX-9 has Mazda Connect. I am pretty sure my 2010 Mazdaspeed3 doesn't have it. I wonder if the hardware upgrade will go back that far....?

Unfortunately, the 2015 CX-9 comes with the older system.

This is great news. Would we assume this would be a free software "update" on cars that are under warranty?

The Mazda Connect radio, can be added to the pre 2015 cars?

Unfortunately, I've not been able to find any of this information online to validate it as of today. I've read it in two car magazines but nothing that was 'official' just saying that it would be available.

Nothing's official yet... just statements from their PR guy that it's coming.
